Asleep: Act 1 Steam giveaway

"Asleep: Act 1" is a 2D psychological horror adventure set in the Brazilian Northeast in the 90s. You play as Ana Lúcia, a lonely and confused girl trapped in her own nightmares, and your only real tool is a flashlight. Light is everything here: it helps you find items and new paths, but each monster reacts to it in its own way, so sometimes you need it to scare them off and sometimes you need to switch it off and sneak past. Stay in the dark for too long and Ana's sanity starts to slip, which makes things even more dangerous.

The game mixes point and click puzzles, stealth, light platforming and classic survival horror chases, all in detailed pixel art with smooth animation. You collect clues in Ana's sketchbook, read documents and travel between two versions of her world, one of them much darker than the other. It is a great pick for fans of slow, creepy horror with a strong story, and this first act is the start of Ana's tale.
